The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation management and possess strong analytical skills to coordinate and optimize freight movements efficiently. Duties Utilize transportation management systems to plan and execute shipments Analyze transportation data to identify trends and optimize routes Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for effective freight movement Monitor GPS systems to track fleet movements and ensure timely deliveries Collaborate with drivers and provide necessary instructions for efficient transportation operations Experience Prior experience in dispatching, particularly in transportation planning Proficiency with Oracle Transportation Management or similar software Familiarity with AS400 and fleet management systems is a plus Strong understanding of transportation logistics and industry practices
