$81.3K – $102K a year 1 day ago Qualifications DevOps Scrum Software development Cybersecurity Senior level Full Job Description The ENGLink Technical Services contract provides essential development, maintenance, and support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ mission-critical emergency management system used to coordinate response activities during natural disasters and other contingency events nationwide. This contract requires expert management of software development, cybersecurity, training, and help desk functions to ensure continuous operation of a system that supports life-saving response efforts during emergency situations, including hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and other crisis events. The ENGLink Project Lead will guide a talented group of professionals in supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ mission-critical emergency management system. As Project Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring USACE can effectively respond to natural disasters, man-made emergencies, and contingency events across the nation. Your leadership will directly impact the safety and effectiveness of critical emergency response operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Set project goals and develop comprehensive plans to meet those goals Maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports Create and maintain project roadmaps aligned with USACE strategic objectives Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget Develop and document a project management plan that addresses scope, schedule, and cost baselines Manage resources including computer equipment and employees Coordinate project team members and develop schedules and individual responsibilities Implement IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence Conduct risk assessments for projects, develop mitigation strategies and maintain a comprehensive risk register Utilize Scrum development methodologies Organize meetings to discuss project goals and progress using Azure DevOps or similar government-approved IT Program Management Software Serve as the single point of contact between the Government and Contractor personnel Implement an effective stakeholder engagement strategy Ensure stability and continuity of the workforce for uninterrupted performance Security and compliance oversight for relevant policies, regulations and standards Coordinate enhanced technical support during emergency response operations
