This role ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality, rapid crisis intervention — including emergency evacuations, on-the-ground coordination, and travel risk mitigation — for clients affected by political unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, or other qualifying security threats. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Operations, this role provides strategic direction and operational leadership to the Operations Support Specialists (OSS) while ensuring operational readiness, effective vendor management, and compliance with ISO standards. Responsibilities Lead operational delivery of FocusPoint’s crisis response services, with emphasis on indemnified events requiring emergency evacuations, extractions, or protective services. Coordinate response activities for clients experiencing covered security events, ensuring timely, effective, and compliant execution under indemnity policies. Oversee planning, refinement, and execution of internal protocols and workflows supporting rapid mobilization and real-time decision-making during crisis incidents. Manage and maintain FocusPoints network of international response partners, including aviation providers, executive protection firms, and evacuation logistics teams. Maintain situational awareness and intelligence feeds, identifying potential threat environments and coordinating preemptive planning with clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with governmental, NGO, and private-sector entities to enhance interagency coordination and resource access during active response missions. Own and update all evacuation and security operations documentation to maintain ISO9001 and
ISO27001
alignment. Deliver after-action reviews, performance metrics, and continuous improvement strategies based on incident data and client feedback. Serve as a subject matter expert and client liaison during critical events, providing strategic consultation and operational oversight.
Experience & Skills Requirements Professional Background:
Minimum 10 years of experience in military, law enforcement, intelligence, or private security, with operational leadership responsibility preferred. Demonstrated success managing complex, real-time security or extraction operations. Proven experience in risk and threat assessment, especially in high-risk or unstable environments.
Leadership and Operational Skills:
Strong command presence and crisis leadership under pressure. Experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams during high-stakes operations. Ability to manage resources, vendors, and client communications simultaneously in fluid situations.
Communication and Technical Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication for client interaction, stakeholder updates, and internal reporting. Technologically proficient with Microsoft Office, crisis management software, and proprietary systems called PULSE. Able to write, revise, and deliver SOPs, response playbooks, and client-facing documentation.
