School Leadership and Management Description:
Knowledge of School Board, State/Local Policies and procedures regarding the administration of school safety/security programs. Knowledge of applicable school safety laws and regulations. Knowledge of computer related equipment, networks, camera systems, telephone systems, varied information systems and their operational functions and limitations acquired through appropriate educational and/or technical experience in the field. Ability to use computer hardware and software applications in the performance of job responsibilities preferred. Ability to formulate preventive and/or corrective procedures related to school safety/security. Knowledge of the current trends, methods and developments in the areas of school safety/security.
Job Summary:
Ensure a safe and secure environment for all District students, staff and visitors. Supervise all emergency operations and procedures for situations that directly impact the school district. Serve as the District point of contact for all emergency operation partnerships with federal, state and local governmental agencies.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree from an accredited educational institution and five (5) years of supervisory experience as a Principal, or educational administration. 2. FDOE Office of Safe Schools training preferred. 3. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening. :
Salary Information:
Administrative. Pay Grade Director. Two hundred fifty days worked per year (12 months). FLSA Exempt.
