PRIMARY DUTY

The Emergency Management Coordinator provides emergency management support to the University Police Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Oversees creation and maintenance of a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan 2. Provides support to the Campus Community Emergency Response Team (C-CERT) 3. Oversees development, planning, and implementation of emergency exercises and drills 4. Assists with and facilitates training for appropriate university personnel in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS) 5. Assists with periodic campus hazard and vulnerability assessments 6. Coordinates Emergency Planning Advisory Committee meetings and trainings 7. REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree

Experience:

Previous experience/participation with emergency management/response
