We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Facility Manager to join our dynamic team in Melbourne, FL.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Facility Manager to support the efficient operation of our facilities. This role requires a strong background in janitorial and maintenance services and proficiency in bilingual communication to effectively coordinate with a diverse team and clientele. The Assistant Facility Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of the property, while delivering exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily janitorial and maintenance operations to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the facility. Assist in scheduling and supervising maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized services. Monitor inventory levels of maintenance and janitorial supplies, and order as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify and address any facility needs or issues. Maintain detailed records and reports of maintenance activities and expenses. Provide bilingual support to staff, effectively bridging communication gaps. Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in janitorial and maintenance operations. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Familiarity with facility management software and tools is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or training in maintenance or facility management is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and inspections. Availability for on-call support in case of emergencies.
