This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to elite craftsmanship, timeliness, and discretion for a discerning clientele. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of aircraft painting, from surface preparation to final detailing, ensuring the highest standards in quality and aesthetics are met for luxury and executive aircraft.
Responsibilities :
Manage end-to-end painting operations for VIP and business jet aircraft, ensuring ultra-high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. Coordinate production schedules to meet tight delivery timelines without compromising quality or regulatory compliance. Supervise a team of skilled painters, prep technicians, and detailers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and precision. Ensure all processes comply with FAA and other applicable aviation regulations, as well as client-specific requirements. Collaborate closely with various teams, customer service representatives, and quality control to deliver custom livery designs and flawless execution. Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols, including final inspection, paint thickness testing, and surface smoothness evaluation. Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost control, and turnaround time while upholding the brand’s luxury standards. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspections for traceability and client records. Uphold the utmost professionalism and discretion when handling VIP clients, aircraft, and proprietary designs. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and compliant with environmental and safety regulations. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in aircraft painting with a focus on business or VIP jets; 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role. In-depth knowledge of high-end aircraft coating systems, custom paint schemes, and high-gloss finishing techniques. Strong understanding of aviation industry regulations and best practices in luxury aircraft presentation. Proven ability to lead teams in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and experience interacting directly with clients or client representatives. Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suites.
