Job Description

We’re committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. Responsible for helping oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the building or facility. Facilities assistants handle building repairs (or retain a contractor to do the work) and oversee both janitorial and lawn maintenance services. Assists in maintaining the appearance and operability of the building or facility. Assignments include performing a wide variety of trade tasks, including but not limited to, electrical work, light plumbing, repair and maintenance of physical elements, and custodial tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attend to day-to-day maintenance and janitorial related issues Aid the facilities manager in the upkeep of three buildings Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion Update paint on an ongoing schedule to keep a clean, fresh appearance Perform minor plumbing repairs (toilet floats, faucets, drains, leaks) without supervision Perform preventative maintenance on other equipment as directed Perform custodial tasks, including monitoring and removing debris on the premises, and monitoring, cleaning and restocking bathrooms Have considerable knowledge of a variety of cleaning materials, methods, equipment, and procedures Maintains property appearance according to company standards Assists maintenance department as required

Requirements:
