The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently, maintaining a safe environment, and managing a team of maintenance personnel. This role requires strong technical skills, as well as excellent organizational and leadership abilities. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of facility maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards to include HVAC and electrical systems. Develop and manage computerized preventative maintenance systems and safety programs. Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities, fabricating parts as necessary to ensure minimal downtime. Supervise maintenance and custodial staff to include providing training and guidance on best practices in facilities management. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure proper upkeep. Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and enhance facility functionality. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory management. Oversee all aspects of campus security to include being the liaison between the agency and the security vendors. Assures compliance with all applicable fire, health and safety standards and ADA compliance. Assures compliance with current operational permits and licenses. Maintains records of all fire, health and safety standards, and OSHA requirements. Coordinates and directs all building repairs. May perform duties personally, through facilities staff or through outside vendors.

Manage the following:

vehicle maintenance, fixed asset control systems and replacement schedule, movement and inventory of furniture and equipment, supply management. Requirements Bachelors degree in Facilities Management or a related field. Five years or more experience in the facilities field will be considered. Three years proven experience in facilities management or maintenance management roles. Two or more years of supervisory or leadership experience. Facilities Manager certification, preferred Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications and logic controllers. Bilingual Spanish, preferred Proficiency in using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Experience working with computerized maintenance management software is preferred. A commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment.
