We are currently searching for a dynamic Facilities and Security Manager (Majority onsite Pembroke Pines, FL with some remote) to join our Credit Union family. This position is responsible for the management and ongoing leadership of the Facilities Department which includes managing Building Services/Facilities, general oversight of mailroom operations and managing respective physical security of all PFCU locations. This position will serve a key role in leading and administering effective Facilities and Security policies, procedures, all while providing ongoing assistance for all employees to ensure optimal experience. This will ensure a positive image for members and potential members to reflect our demand for excellence for our owned and leased properties. This position will also play a key role in business continuity efforts of PFCU and ensure ongoing research and recommendation of programs and technologies.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL

Oversee PFCU’s Building Services/Facilities functions to include: 1) serving as the primary point of contact for all facilities-related matters including being liaison between employees, external service providers, landlords and the Facilities Team; 2) ensuring the standard of building cleanliness and well-maintained ground maintenance to ensure consistently high standards of cleaning, upkeep and safety of building and premises/hazard free; 3) determining building maintenance needs and selecting contract services needed all while ensuring to follow lease agreement obligation(s) for PFCU vs landlord; 4) scheduling and communicating maintenance, inspections, and service disruptions to minimize impact on business operations; 5) managing all assets utilized by facilities, including tools, equipment, automobiles; 6) managing maintenance service requests through the Facilities Service Desk, ensuring timely resolution; 7) facilitating construction and renovation projects including permitting and compliance with local building code as needed either through internal team or a variety of Facilities vendors; 8) collaborating with key partners on certificate of insurance requirements for all occupied spaces of PFCU and 9) partnering with landlords to ensure seamless operations. Will serve in the pivotal role of a variety of physical security operation functions to ensure the safety and security of employees, facilities, members, and assets by implementing and maintaining security systems, policies, and procedures. Will ensure that all employees follow physical security protocols to create a safe and comfortable environment. A myriad of management and supervisory functions. Responsible for the general oversight of Mail Service Operations to include: 1) providing onsite support to mailroom staff, third party vendors and end users; 2) ensuring maintenance of all logs and procedures are always followed within unit; 3) serving as the liaison with all vendors to ensure timely and efficient process flow and 4) ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to. Manage a variety of administrative and critical ongoing deliverables to include: 1) maintaining operating costs within assigned budget for the Department. Will review, analyze, and approve related invoices; 2) Continuously improving facilities and security operations in terms of efficiency, cost and optimum use of space for employee success prudently; 3) managing maintenance schedules of capital equipment, HVAC, etc. to maximize useful life and 4) developing best in class calendar for logistic and system capital improvement investments/upgrades. Travel amongst PFCU branches & potential suppliers/vendors. Perform all other duties as assigned.

TO BE CONSIDERED YOU WILL NEED

High School graduate or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) preferred. A minimum of 7 years related experience in facilities and physical security with a minimum of 2 of these years working with multiple facilities locations. A minimum of 3 years of successful experience supervising and coaching direct reports. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must have advanced mechanical skills and strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electric and other building systems. Strong attention to safety and ability to comply with OSHA regulations. Strong troubleshooting maintenance abilities. Must have strong working knowledge of physical security to include the safeguard of people, property, and assets from physical threats. Must have the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Must possess the ability to remain calm, patient, objective, and professional when presented with difficult situations. Must be able to work in a time sensitive environment, making sound decisions, communicating these decisions to members as well as internal staff. Extensive knowledge of Word and Excel spreadsheet software is necessary. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral communication skills. In addition, presentation skills are necessary as training is a component of the job. Must have the ability to lift heavy equipment or objects. Must have the ability to work independently and cross functionally with diverse subject-matter experts. Strong working knowledge of leases and legal documents such as permits and contracts.
