Facilities Manager Position Available In Broward, Florida

Summary:

The this role manages the assigned hospital campus and assists with overseeing facilities operations, managing budgets, directing routine maintenance, responding to emergencies, managing risk, managing construction/contractors, and conducting site inspections. The manager assists with directing the Facilities department’s activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.

Responsibilities:

Assists with management of the safety program to reduce risk of injury for patients, staff and visitors. Manages all routine maintenance for all utilities as required by Joint Commission/AHCA. Source and manage outside vendors and service providers including but not limited to maintenance contracts, grounds keeping, facility and/or system inspection and certifications, etc. Evaluate trend analysis on all equipment fault times. Manages/Oversees all the Construction Projects, attends meetings and coordinates all hospital shutdowns. Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives. Acts as a project manager and schedules, monitors, and inspects work provided by in house craftsman and outside contractors to ensure work meets appropriate standards. Manages and evaluates departmental operations, including, service level determination and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Responds to all emergencies related to utilities that affect hospital systems.

Education and Certification Requirements:

Associates (Required)

Required Work Experience:

Three (3) years leadership/supervisory experience in Facilities.
