Are you an experienced Facility Management Specialist and have a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes and driving operational excellence? Roth IAMS is a growing, industry-leading company specializing in integrated asset management and capital planning services across North America. Reporting to the Manager of Facility Management, the Facility Management Specialist is responsible for delivering a broad range of Facility Management Consulting (FMC) services to our client Facility Managers, including equipment inventory & tagging, preventative maintenance planning, along with other related services. The role also involves supporting the Manager to enhance and expand on existing programs to strengthen our facility management consulting offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver on all FMC services including; Train clients in the usage of Facility Management software and tools for post project updating; Lead and execute equipment inventory and tagging activities; Deliver account management plans for facilities management services; Design and implement business processes which align with the software systems implemented; Design and implement preventative maintenance programs; Perform benchmark analysis of existing facility operations and identify areas of improvement for performance improvement; Design and implement Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs for clients and Roth IAMS; Defining client operational and capital repair budgets; Assist in Facility Condition Assessments where needed Understand and adhere to unique project requirements, ensuring compliance to all project specifications; Maintain a high level of product quality; technically, grammatically, and as per company master report formats; Present information to Roth IAMS clients in a clear, concise and accurate manor; Develop and train additional Roth IAMS resources to take on additional assignments within Facility Management; Ensure effective time management to deliver on project profitability; Sharing key industry/client knowledge with the

Team Skills & Requirements:

Graduate of relevant College or University-Level technical program related to facilities; Designation from an industry recognized Facility Management organization is an asset; 5-10 years of experience providing facility/asset management for public or private sector facilities; Prior experience setting up and managing a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program and with asset management system implementations Experience in leading the implementation of CMMS programs. Has technical knowledge of Plant Operations and maintenance (POM) including mechanical systems and capital project management experience. Prior experience in managing other Facilities Management / Property Management support services such as janitorial, biomedical, security, grounds and/or food services; Strong technical writing skills are required. Reporting is to be concise, follow company report formats and be based on project specific evidence; Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget; Effective, responsive communication (verbally and written) with the Project Team, clients and the Manager Facility Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required; French language ability (oral and/or written) is considered an asset; A valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle for travel to project sites is required (work related mileage is reimbursed); and Ability to travel for up to a week at a time and up to 50% travel may be required at times (work related expenses are reimbursed); Prior experience in transitioning an organization from a self-operated to a new service delivery model.
