The Student Assistant will provide essential support working closely with faculty and staff to ensure efficient operation or departmental activities. This is a part-time position with an expected commitment of 20 hours per week. The schedule will be flexible to accommodate the student’s academic and other responsibilities. Responsible for demonstrating LSSC’s values of Caring, Communicating, Collaborating, and Celebrating. Students cannot work during class meeting times. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with general campus facilities maintenance, including, but not limited to, plumbing, lighting, doors, locks, patching, painting, and the general appearance of the campus. Assist with moving, setting up, and installing furniture and other equipment Assist with preventative maintenance/safety inspections on college equipment Perform other duties as assigned.
