KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the development of project design plans and specifications, budgets, cost estimating, time scheduling, and provides coordination and inspection review. Prepares Invitation to Bid packages in conjunction with Procurement and Legal Departments, reviews bid proposals for completeness, accuracy, and applicability to project budget. Negotiates and manages design service contracts with outside engineering agencies and professional consultants. Researches and develops defined scope of services. Reviews expenditures and pay requests. Prepares time schedules, budget reports, and technical specifications for a variety of Public Works and City municipal projects.
