POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Facilities Director to lead the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of our multi-site wellness, corporate, and medical spa/clinic environments. This role is deeply involved in the full scope of facility management – from overseeing maintenance teams and managing vendor relationships to conducting site inspections, supporting equipment installations, and leading expansion projects. The ideal candidate combines tactical execution with strategic thinking, bringing deep experience in regulated healthcare or wellness settings and a strong drive to create well-functioning, compliant, and welcoming spaces. OBJECTIVES
Facility Operations:
Lead and manage day-to-day operations across all facilities, maintaining smooth, efficient, and safe functioning at clinics, spas, and corporate offices
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and medical/aesthetic devices to promote optimal performance and longevity
Vendor & Service Management:
Oversee relationships with vendors and service providers (e.g., cleaning, waste management, biomedical disposal), ensuring 10X Health facilities maintain or exceed service standards and regulatory compliance
Compliance & Safety:
Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, and local health codes. Conduct regular inspections and train staff in key safety protocols.
Budget & Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage facility budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and monitor all related expenses with a focus on efficiency and value
Facility Design & Expansion:
Lead new clinic and med spa openings, renovations, and relocations. Oversee construction activities aligned with healthcare and wellness industry standards.
Procurement & Equipment Maintenance:
Direct the procurement, installation, and upkeep of medical and aesthetic equipment to keep all locations fully operational
Space Planning & Optimization:
Manage office layouts and treatment room setups to support operational needs and uphold 10X Health aesthetic standards
Emergency & Crisis Management:
Maintain robust emergency response and preparedness plans and provide staff with the training needed for effective response in urgent situations
Technology & Security:
Partner with IT and security teams to support the functionality and upkeep of key technology systems, including security infrastructure and climate control
COMPETENCIES
Expertise in multi-site facility management, with a demonstrated ability to lead operations across geographically dispersed locations Proven end-to-end construction project management experience from concept development to successful delivery Competency in overseeing construction, renovations, and facility expansions, including space utilization, occupancy planning, and workspace optimization In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as OSHA, HIPAA, and ADA, along with healthcare facility compliance and local building codes Experience in budget development and management, maintaining cost efficiency and quality while optimizing resource allocation Skilled in managing vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring adherence to quality standards, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) Effective communicator with the ability to engage with diverse project stakeholders, including contractors, service providers, architects, and regulatory authorities Proven experience in medical and/or aesthetic equipment maintenance, ensuring functionality and compliance with industry standards
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
7+ years of facilities or construction project management experience within a medical spa or wellness clinic setting
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, as needed Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to inspect and maintain facilities Comfortable working in various environments, including indoor, outdoor, mechanical rooms, and construction areas Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly, which may require working outside of standard business hours
