Job SummaryJob Summary:

Working as aDirector of Facilities, you are responsible for planning,organizing, and controlling functions and activities of plantoperations and building renovations.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies andprocedures Monitors flow and quality of work to assure timely completionof workload and adherence to facility’s standards and regulationsusing computerized programs for preventive and correctivemaintenance, construction projects, financial management, andenergy controls Prepares and manages departmental budgets, including theutilities energy savings program Manages and ensures regulatory compliance with the JointCommission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and otherregulatory agencies Provides guidance, training and motivation to staff Successfully provides effective client rapport Monitors work performance and prepares performance evaluationsfor personnel

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentrelated experience preferred Minimum of 5 years hospital engineering maintenance experienceat Director or Assistant Director level required Experience in hospital project and construction managementpreferred Must have working knowledge of the Joint Commission, NFPA andother healthcare regulatory agenciesApply to Compass Grouptoday!
