Maintenance Coordinator The Lakeside Church Oakland, FL 34787 Essential Functions and Responsibilities Routinely checking vehicles to ensure: All are in proper and safe working order All are properly fueled and receiving preventative maintenance Associated gas cans are full Making supply runs and assisting in inventory tracking Working through work orders within CMMS in a timely, systemized fashion and adding intelligible documentation within the system for future reference Addressing minor issues regarding plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and finish (e.g., trim, paint, drywall) Assist Facilities Director in ensuring preventative maintenance is being kept on schedule Respond to reactive maintenance as needed Occasionally meet with outside contracts to provide access and oversight where needed and report any concerns to Facilities Director Address or resolve any immediate or predictive safety issues and alert anyone potentially affected by them Help keep the facility organized and report cleanliness issue to the steward team Report all challenges to Facilities Director and anyone affected Aid events team in whatever capacity needed (e.g., setup, breakdown, set builds, etc.) when given adequate time and support to do so Experience and Skills Required Ability to confidently operate tools of all types safely and skillfully Able to safely push, pull, lift, and place items of varied weight and size Able to bend, squat, and stand for extended periods of time Comfort working at certain heights while exercising best safety practices Able to properly prioritize projects and work orders through CMMS Work with little supervision Confidence to communicate “no” when it is necessary and to kindly direct requestors to CMMS for all non-emergent challenges Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
