WHAT SETS YOU APART

Orlando City SC is seeking hardworking, positive and passionate individuals who wish to gain experience facilitating key tasks associated with the operation of a professional soccer stadium and special event venue. Employee will have a direct role in assisting with venue operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

This role provides coverage and support at both Orlando Health Training Grounds at Osceola Heritage Park & Sylvan Lake Park. Assist with events at Osceola County Stadium, including but not limited to Orlando City B Matches, international team trainings and tournaments. Assist the Facility Manager with all 3rd party vendor(s) scheduled work and activities, including the onsite Housekeeping, to ensure work is completed to client’s satisfaction. Perform weekly inspections and assist with any repair or maintenance requests as needed. Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory of all assets, equipment and consumables within the facility. Assist in research and procurement of equipment and supplies. Provide operational support for events at INTER & Co Stadium as needed. Provide a safe, clean, friendly, and well-maintained facility for staff, and players. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required, Bachelors degree preferred. Event management experience preferred. Ability to professionally and confidently interact with members at all levels of the organization. Exceptional reliability, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) suite of products. Possess strong attention to detail. Ability to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to extreme weather and/or adverse conditions.

In November 2013, Orlando City Soccer Club was awarded a Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise, becoming the league’s 21st franchise. The team began play in March 2015, with 62,510 fans packing the then-Orlando Citrus Bowl for the Club’s MLS debut. The Lions have reached the postseason in five-consecutive seasons (2020-24), qualified for the Concacaf Champions Cup (formerly Concacaf Champions League) in both 2023 and 2024, and reached their first final in 2020 during the MLS is Back Tournament. The season saw the Pride complete the double, winning both the Championship and the NWSL Shield as the best team in the regular season, capping off a historic campaign that set numerous league records. Former Orlando City defender Seb Hines serves as the team’s head coach, not only the first Black head coach in the league, but also the first to win both the Championship and the NWSL Shield, and the 2024 NWSL Coach of the Year.
