- United States ofAmerica About the role The Construction Project Manager managers small to mediumconstruction projects for our energy client with directaccountability for project delivery.
Projects consist mainly MEPinfrastructure construction for client corporate office and servicecenter facilities within Florida market. This job is part of the Construction Management functionresponsible for ensuring all deliverables of construction projectsare completed on time. Role requires onsite presence along FloridaAtlantic Coast with approximately 15% day-travel to projectsites. What you’ll do Conduct periodic site visits to monitor the progress ofconstruction. Review the status of work completed during the periodcovered and confirm work is aligned with the approved drawings andspecifications. Review all documentation including contractors’ direct cost paymentrequisitions, budget status, and subcontracts. Prepare Project Status and Construction Risk Assessment report.
Seek approval for the release of construction funds. Reviewcontract drawings, specifications, and opine for completeness andgeneral compliance with standard processes. Evaluate the Developer’s direct and indirect cost budget.
Coordinate with the Cost Advisory group performing parameterestimates and spot quantity take-offs. Make relevant comments on the terms of construction agreements.
This includes subcontracts, architectural, engineering design, andbuilding loan agreements. Ensure the Contractor and Architect’squalification statements are up to date. Oversee construction and disbursement schedules. This includeszoning approvals, certified surveys, and building permits. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles andtechniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provideinnovative solutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job field andbroad understanding of several job subject areas within thefunction. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with
