Min $49,961.60 Mid $62,462.40 Position Summary The Supervisor•Facility Engineering are responsible for coordinating and supervising daily and future planned work of assigned staff and projects. Direct reports will be from main campus and off-site properties to include paint and wall finish, lock smith, carpentry, and mechanic team members. Primary duties include, and are not limited to, support of both main campus and off-site maintenance and repairs; Scheduled and un-scheduled work orders; Emergency support services for both main campus and off-site locations. Additional duties include, coordinating and implementing utility shutdown and backup services with construction and service teams; coordination and implementation of healthcare building maintenance and repair services, to include building envelope and internal infrastructure. To provide additional duties as assigned by the Facility Management Team. Standard Work Duties:
Supervisor•Facility Engineering Must always be focused on the daily main campus or off-site needs pertaining to patient, customer, and associate care in our facilities, specifically daily arising repairs (work orders) and emergent situations. Interact with patients, visitors, contractors, doctors and LRH associates in a professional and respectful manner. Must be able to immediately address issues and communicate the work that will need to be completed or has been completed. Conduct performance reviews, assign employees work, schedule time off ensuring proper shift coverage, oversee orientation and training of new employees, and determine priority of work needing completed. As applicable, supervise an equipment and parts inventory for main and off-site campus supplies. Be responsible for placing, monitoring, and releasing of purchase orders and service requests within assigned approval level. Must assign and verify preventive maintenance (PM) procedures to staff are completed by their due date while maintaining the proper documentation associated with those PM’s. Must oversee and round to confirm regulatory documentation for assigned staff to include training for and not limited to OSHA standards, Permitting and engineering regulations, and other hospital/healthcare regulatory requirements. As applicable, you must supervise the service and repairs to hospital support systems including the linen chute, pneumatic tube system, elevators and other essential equipment. As applicable, you must supervise the service and repairs to offsite support system including HVAC, generators, medical gas systems, elevators and other essential equipment. Must ensure team adherence to health care facilities and service requirements which include all regulatory standards for healthcare facilities. Must use health care and supervision knowledge to direct staff needs during standard and emergency conditions to maintain the safety of all patients, staff, and visitors. Assists in the development of department and capital budgets for assigned cost centers, and helps maintain fiduciary responsibility for maintaining budgets within established annual goals. Must support staff engagement activities on a daily basis as a foundational leadership commitment. Assures work areas and storage areas are maintained, cleaned and organized to increase efficiency and to provide a safe environment for staff. Must perform any other duties as assigned to fulfill basic patient and staff needs to maintain safety and functionality of all hospital systems and work requests. Must ensure completion of required documentation to meet regulatory agency requirements including all work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and testing records.

Must be able to interpret, and read building schematic diagrams, and have knowledge of testing and troubleshooting practices. Must be punctual, and committed to excellent quality standards. Must have good computer skills to include knowledge and use of Microsoft word, excel, basic work order systems, and building automation systems with the ability to provide and analyze reports. Must have thorough knowledge of applicable codes, methods, materials, tools, and equipment used to support healthcare buildings and infrastructure support systems which include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, medical gas, and material handling systems. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be able to adapt to a variety of changing duties as required to support all departments in the hospital and off-site facilities. Must have knowledge of OSHA safety, training, and documentation practices.
