POSITION SUMMARY

The Authority is currently recruiting a part-time Facility Operator to join Georgia World Congress Center. The Facility Operator is primarily responsible for receiving and routing calls, logging campus maintenance incidents and inquiries, prioritizing and dispatching work orders, communicating and interacting with internal and external customers while providing exceptional and professional phone services.

ESSENTIAL

DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate computer-based software, telephone, two-way radios, and radio base station equipment Receive, log and dispatch work order calls promptly and effectively through the Campus Operations hotline. Perform as a point of information to the general public if/as needed Maintain an organized and productive workflow in accordance with departmental standard, and ensure the maximum efficiency is realized Create documents, presentations, reports, and other written communication using a variety of software systems and technology Project a professional image to represent the philosophy of the Georgia World Congress Center with emphasis on provided the highest level of customer services as deemed acceptable Must be willing and flexible to work irregular hours including weekends, holidays, nights Perform such other duties, functions, special projects and responsibilities as assigned Files documents into appropriate employee files. Understand computers and utilize technology to improve work processes Ability to use office software to create, format and edit documents and presentations Ability to clearly understand and identify the customer in all business-related interactions both internally and externally Must demonstrate concern and take responsibility for customer inquiries Must be able to recognize and communicate options available to offer support and solutions Must consistently provide excellent customer service Thoroughness in task approach, follow-up & completion Exhibits excellence in all service-oriented requests through resolution Ability to exercise good judgment and decision making Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE
