Job Description:

Under direct supervision, performs a broad range of workspace coordination, light industrial, service and support tasks for assigned function within the Office of Human Resources. Duties may vary and be performed on an individual business unit basis or enterprise-wide perspective. Interacts and works with myriad customers, including internal staff and external visitors. Works as a team player to assist co-workers and visitors as needed. Responsibilities Set-ups and maintains conference rooms and meeting spaces, working with internal staff and external visitors as needed. Facilities package deliveries/shipments, working with couriers and shipping services. Monitors and maintains supplies of conference rooms and meeting spaces and reprographics stations. Assists with inventory control and storage of office supplies. Works with various vendors and service personnel when on site to perform a variety of facility work, including new and maintenance jobs. Helps to keep common areas such as break rooms, etc., clean and organized. Performs routine cleaning in common and shared spaces of high touch areas on a daily basis. Conducts routine inspection of office areas throughout the enterprise each day to ensure workspaces are secure and doors are properly functioning. Performs light industrial tasks. Works with IT business unit to ensure all audio-visual technology in conference rooms and meetings spaces are fully operational, maintained, and properly working. Performs other duties as assigned by Management. Technical Competencies Strong customer service skills Excellent interpersonal acumen Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technology systems and equipment issues Knowledge of basic computer systems and applications Ability to manage and maintain enterprise conference rooms and meeting spaces Strong organizational skills Knowledge of general workspace safety protocols Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field AND one (1) to three (3) years of practical hands on experience OR the equivalent combination of applicable education, job specific experience, and technical competencies to successfully perform job as required. Applicants must show demonstrated ability for workspace coordination, customer service, and general facility support. Preferred Qualifications A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in office technology and/or administration, business, or related field. Prior work experience related to the transit, tolling, and/or transportation industry. Basic familiarity with audio-visual. Public sector work experience is a plus.
