Job Description:

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring facilities of a multi-campus church are properly set up and supported for all events. This includes recruitment, coordination, training and supervision of the Event Staff Supervisor and part-time hourly staff. This position works closely with the General Manager and church staff. She/he will assist the General Manager to establish standards and procedures to ensure that facilities are kept clean, and all systems are functioning properly. Work with Event Staff Supervisor and event staff to maintain a high level of customer service excellence.

Summary of Job Duties:

Assist General Manager in the development and implementation of best practices, proactive standards, procedures, and checklists to enhance ministry Build relationships and interact with church staff to define facility requirements for all events Schedule and supervise Event Staff Supervisor and hourly event staff Perform regular inspections to ensure facilities and equipment are properly maintained, and rooms arranged for all events Coordinate with vendors on facility maintenance and project management, including janitorial and landscaping Assist General Manager with technologies in use at all locations (work order, reservations, building automation systems, access control, HVAC programming, camera, etc.) to facilitate efficient operations Assist General Manager with inventory and purchasing facility supplies for all locations. Will have primary responsibility for Central Campus. Order and disburse linens for all campuses Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3+ years of progressive experience in facility and/or event management Relationship builder with proven excellent communication and customer service skills Must be highly organized and able to prioritize effectively Associate degree or equivalent work experience Experience with technologies such as work order and reservation software (i.e., eSpace, EMS, or Room Manager) and building systems (i.e., automation or HVAC, access control, and camera) Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel Hospitality experience a plus
