Job Summary:
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our facilities.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our buildings and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and conducive to a productive work environment. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team and contribute to the overall effectiveness of facility management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond to service requests promptly and effectively, coordinating with maintenance staff and external vendors as needed.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and assist with procurement processes when necessary.
- Support the setup and breakdown of events and meetings, ensuring that spaces are appropriately arranged and equipped.
- Monitor building access and ensure all safety protocols are followed, including maintaining emergency exits and first-aid stations.
- Assist with cleaning and janitorial services as required to ensure the facility remains clean and presentable.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and track completion of tasks.
- Document and report on facility issues, improvements, and maintenance activities as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, guests, and vendors, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance, operations, or a related role preferred.
- Basic understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
