This position fulfills the critical role of overseeing the daily management of The Hub. This includes investigating and resolving maintenance concerns, performing quality assurance inspections, supervising student desk coordinators, maintaining audio/visual and technology systems, managing reservations for multiple spaces, and working with campus partners to manage the annual calendar of events in the space. This position is critical personnel in the event of a crisis or evacuation. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated commitment to personal and departmental development and professionalism. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with individuals at all levels internal and external to the organization. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees and vendors. Ability to develop departmental goals, objectives, budget, and strategic plan. Ability to multi-task, prioritize work assignments, meet established deadlines, anticipate deadlines, and achieve quality desired outcomes. Solid analytical skills and attention to detail. Demonstration of excellence in customer service. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed. Ability to follow direction including all policies/procedures, risk management, safety precautions, rules/regulations, and emergency procedures established at the facility. Ability to work flexible hours based on events, including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays as needed. OR High School Diploma (or Equivalency) with 7 years of directly related experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a higher education setting. Experience planning, executing and assessing large-scale events. Experience providing excellent customer service to a variety of stakeholders. Team player with a positive outlook dedicated toward constant improvement.
