Full Job Description BRG Facilities Manager Job Description:

The Facilities Manager oversees all building-related operations, maintenance, and repair across our multi-property restaurant group. This includes restaurants, warehouses, and offices. This role is responsible for ensuring that all facilities are safe, functional and well-maintained with a strong emphasis on refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment, and overall infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a strong background in restaurant facilities management, excels in diagnosing and solving mechanical issues, and thrives in a fast-paced, service focused environment.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Oversees daily operations and maintenance of facilities across multiple properties Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration units, HVAC systems, kitchen equipment (i.e. ovens, fryers, dish machines), plumbing, electrical, and other infrastructure Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and building systems Manage emergency repairs to minimize operations downtime Maintain asset logs and service record for all critical equipment and building systems Work with contractors and vendors to complete larger projects or specialized repair Monitor facilities to ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations Collaborate with restaurant managers and corporate leadership to prioritize repair and improvements. Manage facilities- related budgets and expenditures Implement policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Track work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, HVAC, electricity, structural, etc.) and refurbishments. Inspect buildings’ structures, fixtures, and furnishings to determine the need for repairs or renovations. Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years as a facilities manager or relevant position, preferably restaurant or hospitality Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics Valid drivers license Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices. Education and training in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant fields. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFM) will be an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and leadership skills Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel) a plus Ability to stay professional in a stressful work environment. Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional manner. Available to work different hours including weekends, days, nights, and holidays. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong task and time management abilities. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods (eight or more hours). Able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight up to 50 lbs. Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to eight hours per day. Able to reach above head and shoulder levels. Able to twist, kneel, bend and crawl. Able to squat and crouch. Able to perform sweeping motion, front-to-back and side-to-side. Able to work in confined spaces. Able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Able to climb stairs and ladders. Manual dexterity Able to listen and follow instructions, work unsupervised, and adapt to changing situations. Displays integrity and honesty and maintains a positive attitude towards managers, co-workers, guests and visitors. Comply with all company policies
