Palmetto, LA Purpose of Job:

The Administrator at Tri-Community Nursing Center serves as the overseer of all operations at the facility and all departments and department heads. This position is responsible for managing all employees, overseeing all compliance operations within the organization, and ensuring all appropriate services are provided to residents.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:

Serving as overall director of the facility as well as manager to all employees; ensuring that all department heads and employees perform work in line with the facility’s regulatory mandates and provide excellent service and care to residents. Educating all staff on relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations that impact the facility and its employees. Performing human resources duties including hiring, firing, taking complains/grievances from staff, and other related activities. Listening to grievances from residents and their families as well as investigating grievances, taking appropriate actions, and reporting grievances in incidents when necessary. Developing policies and procedures for the organization that will apply to employees and their everyday practices. Processing necessary documents and paperwork as required for licensure of the facility; ensuring that the facility is in compliance with regulations. Overseeing all aspect of the facility to ensure it is in compliant and operating condition; ensuring that all employees are appropriately and adequately performing their duties. Assisting management and ownership when needed.

Requirements:
Education:

Associate degree or bachelor’s degree

Experience:

At least 2 years, with administration background
