Summary:
This position will consist of 40 hours per week Performs tasks of the maintenance technician in addition to supervising the maintenance program of the hospital building and grounds (and allied facilities). Responsible for coordinating the hospital’s transportation. Needs and supervision and scheduling of security personnel.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
High school graduate (or equivalent) preferred. College graduate preferred.
License/Certifications:
Valid driver’s license. May be required to be licensed in a trade such as plumbing, electrical or boiler operation.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospital maintenance preferred. Must have experience and perform work in compliance with applicable regulations in building construction and renovation including, but not limited to, carpentry, painting, drywall and landscaping.
May require knowledge of heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration.
May require knowledge in electronic equipment.
