Job Summary The Director of Facilities Management at St. Dominic Hospital oversees the Plant Maintenance Department, including St. Catherine’s Village, ancillary buildings, and SDMA clinics. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all facilities management functions, including construction. The director coordinates with other departments to ensure the safe and efficient operation of patient care-related electronic equipment and oversees the construction, installation, and maintenance of physical plant facilities. Additionally, the director advises on contracts and procurement of new equipment and systems, ensures environmental compliance, conducts monitoring and inspections, and provides training on related policies and regulations. Minimum RequirementsExperience•Minimum of five years in facilities management leadership.
Education•Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Special Skills•Knowledge of pumps, engines, HVAC, and other complex mechanical equipment; Ability to read civil, mechanical, and electrical construction documents; Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; Familiarity with Federal, State, and local standards, including NFPA, OSHA, JACHO, EPA, DEQ, DHH, FDA, State Police, and Hazmat regulations.
