What you will do:
This seasonal (Memorial Day – Labor Day) position oversees the Splash Park facility, ensuring daily maintenance, chemical testing, and logging into Digiquatics. The role assures that equipment setup and takedown completed for classes, programs, rentals, and special events. Responsibilities also include assuring staff are in place for monitoring guest, addressing customer service issues, or staffing concerns in the absence of Directors. Additional duties involve custodial tasks, equipment care, inventory management, safety programs, routine facility inspections, and janitorial functions. The position assists with staff planning, training, and fills in for absent staff as needed.
Work Schedule:
4 employees will cover open hours which include 8:30am-8pm M-F, 9:30am-8pm Sat, and 1:30pm-8pm Sun schedule. Schedule is rotating and depends on the total hours worked. Flexible scheduling will be based on hours of availability among all 4 staff. No staff work greater than 40 hours.

Staff Management:
Hold each other accountable for responsibilities, rule enforcement, and attentiveness.
Coach others and provide materials in support of staff development and adherence to policies.
Orient new employees and help lead in-service sessions to maintain high standards.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure completion of daily checklists and adherence to operational protocols.
Oversee paperwork, including accident/incident reports, daily activity reports, chemical logs, and deposit documentation.
Perform weekday camp check-ins and weekend party check-ins seamlessly.
Team Support:
Step into any position as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Assist at the front desk and support customer interactions.
Customer Focus:
Champion exceptional customer service, ensuring every patron has a positive experience. Qualifications Expert in pool chemistry to maintain optimal water quality and safety. Skilled in managing and motivating staff, ensuring smooth operations and team cohesion. Experienced in customer service, delivering a welcoming and positive experience for all patrons. Work with children is optimal. Efficient multitasker, able to handle various duties while ensuring high-quality results. Strong leadership abilities, fostering a positive and productive work environment using common sense. Responsive to direction, able to carry out tasks and instructions from supervisors with accuracy. Proficient in cash handling and managing register transactions–responsible. Keen eye for facility needs, promptly identifying and reporting issues to supervisors for timely resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must be at least 18 years of age
Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work
Two years’ experience working in aquatics (or customer service)
Special Requirements:
CPO certified pool operator (or ability to achieve)
CPR PRO and First Aid certified (or ability to achieve)
Supplemental Information Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work typically involves the ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
Work necessitates visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
The employee is subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, oils, noise, extreme heat and vibration.
The employee is in contact with potentially infectious bodily fluids during the performance of duties such as when providing first aid care and facility cleaning.
Working conditions include both inside and outside environmental conditions.
