Facility and Grounds Manager POS#109020001 Cumberland County – 2.8 Fayetteville, NC Job Details Full-time $77,097.77 a year 2 days ago Qualifications 3 years Driver’s License Senior level Full Job Description JOB Apply to be our Facilities and Grounds Manager within our Internal Services Department where you’ll direct programs and staff in the delivery of services in Facilities Management, Landscaping and Grounds, and Logistics and Janitorial. You will also oversee the maintenance and up-keep of 45 buildings covering approximately 1.8 million square feet of space and be responsible for staffing decisions, budget development and execution and managing the daily operations. This position reports to the Internal Services Director for the County.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Plans and organizes work or service requests related all program disciplinesOversees the work and supervision of program discipline supervisorsEvaluates processes and programs and recommends proceduresBudgetary responsibilities may include preparing documents and performing research to justify language used in documents for the departmentMakes decisions on hiring, counseling and disciplinary actions, and realigns work as neededReviews plans and specifications for new construction to determine compatibility with existing equipment or acceptability of designDevelops RFP’s for program services, evaluate proposals, interview and recommend contractors, review plans, and prepare staff reports to the DirectorOversee vendors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and inspect work results and will terminate contractors when out of compliance
