QUALIFICATIONS

Education Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred Experience and Training Minimum 1 year experience in collegiate athletics or similar experience Turf management experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

Proficient in use of MS Office products and the internet Problem solving, organization and time management skills Strong interpersonal skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist in the scheduling and supervision of daily operations of all athletic facilities which includes the Millis Center, Williard Stadium, Vert Stadium, Steele Center, and Qubein Center Assists in coordinating maintenance of all athletic venues Assists with special facility projects For assigned sports, schedule and supervise all event staff for home athletic contests; assist with other events held at the athletic venues Plan and manage logistics for all home athletic contests for assigned sports, to include security, parking, hosting officials, facility supervision and all student workers for event management Manage assigned visiting team arrivals Update visiting team, fan, and officials guides and coordinate distribution to required parties Supervise, hires, and trains 15-25 student workers for event management Manages expenses within budget for assigned sports Maintains positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with students, students’ parents, faculty, co-workers and managers Other duties as assigned
