Facility Operations Manager Catalyst MedTech Stokesdale, NC

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION

Responsible for managing diagnostic imaging equipment refurbishment, installation, and relocation operations for the assigned facility. Provides oversight and management of parts operations including sourcing, testing, repair, and fulfillment. Ensures accurate and timely completion of projects to assist in achieving corporate goals. Medical equipment supported includes PET/CT, CT, PET, SPECT, and

SPECT/CT. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Management:

Lead and manage teams responsible for parts sourcing, testing, repair, and fulfillment, as well as equipment refurbishment, installation, relocation, and project management. Oversee parts operations, ensuring timely and accurate ordering, inventory management, and availability to support organizational needs. Provide coaching, direction, and performance evaluations for salaried and hourly staff, fostering competency development and alignment with organizational goals. Review and approve staff timecards, PTO requests, and expense reports in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Project Oversight:

Collaborate with Service Operations to ensure the accurate and timely completion of equipment-related projects. Own key performance indicators (KPIs) related to refurbishment cost, on-time delivery, and quality. Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality across projects.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety:

Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and support ISO audits as needed. Maintain and enforce health and safety standards for warehouse staff, including required training and incident reporting.

Facility & Fleet Management:

Oversee facility cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance to maintain a professional environment. Manage company fleet operations at the assigned location, ensuring proper maintenance and repairs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Primarily performed in a warehouse setting with occasional travel as required. Extensive computer work is involved.

OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE

May involve exposure to potentially dangerous materials requiring safety precautions and protective equipment. Moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Approximately 30% standing, 30% sitting, and 40% walking.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology (STEM) or Business/Management required. 10+ years of experience in warehouse operations and personnel management, preferably in a technical or healthcare environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and related PC applications. Experience with medical imaging equipment is preferred. Experience implementing Lean strategies is a plus. Proficiency with CRM software is advantageous. Valid driver’s license required. Must pass pre-employment background check, including FBI fingerprinting, child abuse clearances, and drug screening. Completion of mandatory safety compliance training upon hire and annually thereafter (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, workplace safety).
