Job Description

Facilities Project Coordinator 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 4800 Reagan Drive, Charlotte, NC 28206 MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Facilities Project Coordinator in Charlotte, NC or Mooresville, NC to support our growing Central team. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Monitor critical lease dates (renewals, expirations, rent escalations, etc.) and ensure timely action. Facilitate lease renewals, amendments, and terminations as needed. Maintain facility-specific data in the Facilities Management Program and the Facilities Access Database and ensure the accuracy of the system’s information. Assist in gathering additional facility data that is currently not tracked for the new Facilities Management Program. Prepare reports and summaries related to lease status, rent schedules, and occupancy. Ensure timely rent payments and handle billing/invoicing questions related to leases. Maintain accurate records of lease documents, payments, and correspondence. Create and maintain project documentation, including schedules, action items, meeting notes, and reports. Collect and organize account information. Assist with updating all locations with MCA-branded signage. Ensure all MCA facilities requiring HVAC PM Service Contracts are compliant with lease requirements. Maintain MCA Locations List. Assist Facilities Manager with creating Google Maps indicating various locations as needed during searches for new locations. Manage all administrative responsibilities of the Facilities Department.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

Excellent attention to detail. Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to gathering information through phone calls and email communication. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (proficiency in Excel required), SharePoint, and Access Databases. High level of integrity. Ability to succeed in an often fast-paced environment, establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
