This position involves overseeing various aspects of facilities management, including HVAC systems, buildings and equipment, and maintenance management. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices Duties Oversee the daily operations of facility maintenance, ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently. Manage HVAC systems, including routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades. Coordinate maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all facility operations. Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of building structures Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools Foster a culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Any other duties assigned Qualifications Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
