Job Description
An urgent care is seeking an Urgent Care Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in eastern North Carolina. This outpatient position offers shifts from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 8; Monday, June 23; and Friday, June 27. There is no call required, and providers will join an established team consisting of one physician, four APPs, and ten nurses. The clinic provides services including COVID testing and uses
EPIC EMR.
Candidates must hold BLS or ACLS certification from the AHA and be certified through AANP or NCCPA. Required procedures include suturing, splinting, burn care, I&D, foreign body removal, elbow reduction, and laceration repair. The clinic is equipped with X-ray, iStat, CBC capabilities, and has seven exam rooms.
