Essential Job Duties The University Housing Facilities team is focused on providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. The Regional Facilities Manager (RFM) in University Housing supervises mechanics responsible for the response to electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC issues in our residential communities. Our regional facility managers provide front line support to our residents’ needs and are expected to resolve over 90% of the submitted work orders without passing them on to a specialized trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing). Our Regional Facilities Managers are forward facing, directly accountable to students/parents, and critical to the customer service of our department. Other Responsibilities Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Experience/Education High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience in the trade(s) areas assigned; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Other Required Qualifications Experience in performing technical work and facilities management. Project management experience. Considerable knowledge of the standard practices, materials, and methods of leading a maintenance team. Ability to plan, assign, and direct the work team members. Strong communication skills. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications N/A Required License or Certification Valid Drivers License Required.
