About this opportunity This positionhas managerial oversight of an entire campus or multiple facilitysites. The Sr. Facilities Manager has the overall responsibilityfor overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures andprograms that will assure well-managed, well-maintained buildingsand facilities, placing maximum emphasis on leading a staff in thepositive response to the concerns and needs of the workforceoccupying the workplace. This position is the primary liaison withfunctional leadership and leads staff in the coordination ofservices and activities, financials, vendors and resources requiredfor current and future needs of the building and operations. TheSenior Facilities Manager also has responsibility for the overallfinancial and KPI performance of the operating plan within theirrespective facility site/sites. In this role, you will…Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeday-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring that all services areeffectively delivered and facility needs are met including allrelevant workplace services such as custodial, life-safety,engineering, food service and general maintenance.
  • Ensure thatstaff implements and provides required services in a mannerconsistent with company policies
  • Manage service contracts costeffectively. Responsible for all aspects of service deliverypursuant to these contracts
  • Responsible for periodic and ongoingperformance and financial review, conducting RFP’s, and assuringpayments and invoicing match contract pricing.
  • Initiate audit &control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractualcommitments are met
  • Lead the facility team in the supervision ofmaintenance programs relating to the interior and exteriorconditions and appearance and operation of the facilities
  • Ensurethat facility staff consistently provides positive and promptresponse to requests from employees and other occupants
  • Responsible to prepare and deliver consolidated reporting andoperational reviews of all KPIs, budgets and any other reportingrequirements
  • Develop, prepare and explain the annual facilitybudget, quarterly forecasts, and operating plans associated withthe campus or site
  • Assist in development of capital budgets forthe property. This includes contributions towards a five- year planof maintenance, facility improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • Coordinate the collection, analysis and reporting of data andanalysis to provide accurate and current assessment of objectives,productivity, cost savings and improvements.
  • Review work ordermetrics and system to identify service gaps and recurring issuesand provide corrective actions
  • Responsible for the direct hiring,training and motivational activities of the facility staff
  • Manageand drive customer focus within all areas of operational activitiesand ensure that effective relationships are maintained with keystakeholders and leadership
  • Drive innovation through thedevelopment of best practices, operational and service efficiencyas well as the identification of industry trends and tools thatwould contribute to our operational excellence goals. In this role,you’ll need …
  • Minimum of 10 years of facility managementexperience with at least 3 years at the level of Facility Manager
  • Proven ability to adapt, manage and implement change in afast-paced work environment
  • Experience in space planning,construction, engineering and all facets of property operation andbuilding management
  • Experience in maintenance and all technicalaspect of facilities operation and staff management
  • Experiencewith critical system environments and Building Management Systems(BMS) experience
  • Communication Proficiency (oral and written)

  • Vendor Management – custodial, security,food service, landscape, etc
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree (orequivalent experience) preferred with minimum of 10 yearsfacilities experience
  • Professional certifications preferred suchas IFMA, CFM, etc….
