Starting wage is based on experience and shift. In addition to a base wage, every associate is eligible for quarterly profit sharing!! Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. Duties include mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant and emptying trash bins. Individual must work well on their own and be self- motivated-also as a team. Basic qualifications and
Skills:
Sweep, mop and scrub aisles in manufacturing areas. Monitor and clean microwaves and lunch rooms as needed. Perform miscellaneous clean‑up duties as assigned, such as: bathrooms (sinks, floors, and stock sanitary supplies), grounds, etc. Remove trash and debris from designated areas inside and outside the facility. Vacuum, dust, clean windows and empty trash in all office areas. Monitor and refill dispensers (e.g., paper towels, toilet paper, cups, eyeglass cleaner, etc.) Collect cardboard, pallets, rags, etc. daily for disposal. Operation of Zamboni Hopper Notify supervisor concerning need for repairs or replacement to lighting and able to repair plumbing fixtures, etc. Clean snow from sidewalk as needed. Clean work area, tools, and equipment at the end of the shift or the end of the particular operation being performed. Participate in training as mandated by OSHA standards. Look for additional educational opportunities to improve job skills. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Individual must be able to work a 40 + hour week Reliable transportation is needed to work from building to building about the campus Must be willing to have hepatitis A & B shots, if not already inoculate Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Physical Demands:
Associates are frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position can involve sitting, walking and lifting up to 40 pounds several times throughout the day. Job is performed standing all day. Job requires substantial movement/motion with regard to walking, bending, lifting, grasping and applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palms.
Requirements:
You must be a minimum of 18 years old, and able to pass both a background and drug screen. •Quarterly profit sharing for associates is based on the Company’s profits earned for the quarter.
