This position will provide strategic leadership, oversight, andmanagement over the engineering, maintenance, and operations of ourhealthcare facilities. The successful candidate will play a crucialrole in ensuring that our healthcare facilities are compliant withall regulatory standards, safe, efficient, and conducive fordelivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Overseethe operations, maintenance, and engineering of all healthcarefacilities, ensuring they are safe, efficient, andpatient-friendly. 2. Develop and implement strategic facilityplans, including infrastructure planning, space utilization, andlayout designs. 3. Manage and coordinate the budget for facilityoperations, maintenance, and engineering, ensuring cost-effectiveuse of resources. 4. Collaborate with other department heads toensure facility plans align with the healthcare organization’sstrategic goals. 5. Ensure all healthcare facilities are compliantwith local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industrystandards. 6. Develop, implement, and oversee preventativemaintenance programs for all healthcare facilities. 7. Lead andmanage the facility engineering team, fostering a culture ofcontinuous improvement and excellence. 8. Handle emergencysituations or facility issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruptionto healthcare services. 9. Collaborate with architects,contractors, and other stakeholders on facility construction orrenovation projects. 10. Regularly evaluate and report on theperformance of facility operations, maintenance, and engineeringactivities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,Facility Management, or related field. A Master’s degree will beconsidered an advantage. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience infacility engineering, operations, and maintenance, preferably inthe healthcare industry. 3. Proven experience in strategic facilityplanning, budget management, and team leadership. 4. Strongknowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related tohealthcare facilities. 5. Exceptional project management skills,with a proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scalefacility projects. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with theability to handle emergency situations promptly and effectively. 7.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability tocollaborate with various stakeholders. 8. High level of integrity,with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety andcompliance. 9. Proficiency in using facility management softwareand other related technology. 10. Certification as a HealthcareFacility Manager (CHFM) or similar will be considered an advantage.
