- Performs routine and unskilled work such as carrying supplies and equipment, erecting ladders and scaffolding, cleaning, and repairing drains, removing materials from the work site.
- Preparing surfaces and spreading paint, loading, and unloading trucks, performing rough carpentry and masonry work, and cleaning the work site after repair work is completed.
- Performs a variety of routine building maintenance tasks such as unclogging toilets and sinks. May assist the Trades Generalist with replacing toilet and faucet fixtures.
- Perform other maintenance tasks such as collecting and disposing of trash, planting or weeding, and snow removal by shovel or powered snow removal equipment.
- Replace light bulbs; wash and dust fixtures, furnishings, floors, corridors, stairs, stairwells, and partitions using appropriate supplies and equipment; including ladders and scaffolding.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Operational Needs:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, platforms and boom lifts.
- Ability to operate small equipment including lawnmowers, snow blowers, weed eaters, floor buffers, vacuums, etc.
