Position Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

SUNY Geneseo’s Athletic Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Athletic Facilities & Competition Coordinator. This is a 10-month position reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics and Recreation.
In this role, you will assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of Geneseo athletic games, events, external rentals, and facilities serve as the game administrator for select sports
assist in the hiring, training, supervision, and scheduling of event staff
manage student payroll for game day operations Required Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, college breaks and some holidays
1 – 2 years of experience in collegiate athletic event management
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion as well as the ability to establish and maintain positive learning environments for students and collaborative relationships with colleagues

Coordinate daily schedule and usage of Geneseo athletic facilities, including game and rental contracts; Serve as department liaison to facility services.
