Job Description

Job Summary Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Facilities Technician in New York, NY. The hours are 9:30am-5:30pm with some flexibility as needed. This is a fully in-office role, five days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of office spaces by walking the floor, tidying desks, removing trash, and ensuring kitchen areas are stocked and clean
  • Perform light maintenance and basic repairs such as fixing desk drawers, locks, chairs, and replacing light bulbs
  • Serve as a point of contact for facilities-related needs from staff at all levels, including HR requests for new hire desk setups
  • Monitor and support general upkeep of shared office equipment such as printers
  • Collaborate closely with a team of facilities professionals, including technicians, office services coordinators, and stockroom staff
  • Maintain a professional, approachable presence in a high-visibility role within a large, busy office
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a facilities or maintenance role
  • Familiarity with tools, materials, and methods used in basic office repairs
  • Comfortable with physical aspects of the job, including walking and moving around the office throughout the day
  • Prior experience in a professional services or corporate office setting preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
  • Up to $45,000-$62,000, plus bonus
