Operations Supervisor Position Summary:
Midway Bowling Center is seeking a reliable and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, bar, and front desk departments. This leadership role ensures all departments function smoothly, consistently meet performance expectations, and deliver excellent customer experiences. The Facility Manager is also responsible for administrative duties including reporting, scheduling, inventory, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Supervise kitchen, bar, and front desk teams to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and customer service standards. Ensure all areas operate in compliance with health, safety, and company standards. Monitor equipment functionality, cleanliness, and readiness in all service areas. Support department leads with shift planning, break coverage, and task delegation.
Reporting & Administration:
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to the Operations Supervisor. Track and manage labor hours, inventory levels, and supply orders. Maintain employee records, attendance logs, and incident reports. Help with payroll preparation by providing labor summaries and performance notes.
Staff Leadership & Training:
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training for kitchen, bar, and front desk staff. Provide real-time coaching and feedback to support team development. Support enforcement of policies, SOPs, and accountability standards.
Customer Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for guest concerns and escalate issues appropriately. Maintain a calm, professional demeanor in high-stress situations. Help uphold a welcoming and safe environment for all customers.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in hospitality, food service, entertainment, or facility management. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable with administrative tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and POS/inventory systems. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Working knowledge of PA food and alcohol service regulations preferred.
