Duties Your Core Responsibilities Operational Leadership :

Oversee daily operations, ensuring the health, safety, and developmental success of all children in your care.

Visionary Management :

Establish and maintain a high-quality vision for the center in accordance with licensing standards and best practices.

Staff Leadership :

Recruit, train, supervise, and inspire a team of early childhood professionals. Foster a collaborative, joyful, and high-performing team culture.

Curriculum Oversight :

Guide curriculum development and ensure alignment with early learning standards. Support teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

Regulatory Compliance :

Ensure compliance with all state and local licensing regulations, maintaining excellent relationships with regulatory agencies.

Parent and Community Engagement :

Build strong relationships with families through open communication, community outreach, and engagement events.

Financial Management :

Oversee budgeting, payroll, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and purchasing. Collaborate with the Owner on strategic financial planning.

Administrative Efficiency :

Maintain accurate student records, manage office systems, and ensure smooth administrative operations.

Emergency Preparedness :

Establish and enforce health, safety, and emergency procedures. Train staff in emergency response protocols. Communication with

Maintain excellent communication with the Owner; work on a variety of strategic projects and be flexible to adapt to shifting priorities as needed.

Develop Staff Meetings:

Create and implement staff meetings that address any concerns, questions and corrective action or training needed.

Networking:

Attend networking events and setup booth’s for local events to advertise the Preschool in hopes of enrolling new students and get the word out.

Scheduling:

Employee scheduling, event scheduling, scheduling events for attendance, schedule tours and perform tours of our facility. Requirements Your Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in early childhood education 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role CDA or Bachelor?s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) Strong knowledge of SC DSS licensing regulations Must meet all DSS requirements Confident and compassionate leader with strong team-building abilities Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong budgeting and administrative skills Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain) Must pass a full background check and health screening Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of digital tools (e.g., email, Google Suite, Google Drive, Brightwheel, etc.) Must have availability M-F 6a-6pm with some weekends if there is an event or other special occasion you must attend Must fill in if rooms are out of ratio and be willing to fill in for any other reasons in classrooms if there are no teachers or staff available to cover Must be: Independent ? able to work, think, or learn without constant help or supervision. Self-reliant ? confident in one?s own ability to handle things without needing others. Resourceful ? skilled at finding quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties. Autonomous ? capable of making decisions and functioning on one?s own.
