Director of Facility Operations Seafields by Bishop Gadsden Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community is excited to announce Seafields by Bishop Gadsden, located at the intersection of Seabrook and Kiawah Islands. This community will feature 88 independent and 16 assisted living residences. With outstanding amenities, world-class health care with MUSC Health Kiawah Partners Pavilion and Bishop Gadsden’s Gadsden Glen Center for Health and Rehab, all within walking distance to Freshfields Village, it is going to be a community like no other! The Director will provide exceptional leadership and oversight of the community’s environmental and facility operations, coordinating resident needs, resources, and team performance across building maintenance, housekeeping, groundskeeping, transportation/valet, and community safety.
A Typical Day :
Develop long- and short-term goals and objectives for the department. Create and implement policies and procedures to achieve goals. Collaborate with the Finance Team on budget preparation, management, and forecasting. Oversee supply orders, inventory, and monthly close processes. Establish quality standards for maintenance and cleaning; evaluate department effectiveness. Plan and schedule routine and preventive maintenance.
Requirements:
What We Need In A Candidate :
Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required. Minimum 5 years of management experience in hospitality or senior living community settings preferred. Supervisory experience, including staffing and scheduling. Effective communication with individuals of diverse backgrounds. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Consistent demonstration of responsibility, accountability, and professionalism. Ensure compliance with department and facility policies.
