Facilities Management Morris College is seeking a Director of Facilities and Transportation to manage and oversee all aspects of the facilities department. Position Description and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Vice president of Finance and Administration, the Director is responsible for all maintenance projects across the campus as well as maintaining an inventory and control system for all college property and equipment. Supervises custodial services, grounds services, vehicle maintenance and assignment. Transport athletic teams, college choirs and field trips. Develop plans and specifications for minor renovation projects on campus involving either personnel or external contractors. Supervises the preparation of all facilities and equipment needed for outdoor events on the campus grounds. Prepare annual report and detail recommendations for campus-wide improvement. Qualifications Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job-related field and at least 5 years of experience, including prior management experience. Knowledge of facility systems including mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
