Job SummaryThis Bench position will provide management supportto new and existing SSC accounts in K-12 or higher educationsettings. Travel is required and can be significant, includingovernights. Ideal candidates will be open to relocating outside ofAtlanta, GA.As a Director of Facilities, you will be responsiblefor planning, organizing, and controlling plant operations andbuilding renovations in K-12 or higher education systems. This rolerequires full-service experience in custodial, grounds,maintenance, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and evaluate existing programs, services, policies, andprocedures. Monitor work flow and quality to ensure timely completion andcompliance with standards using computerized programs formaintenance, construction, financial management, and energycontrols. Prepare and lead departmental budgets, including utility andenergy savings programs. Provide guidance, training, and motivation to staff. Maintain effective client relationships. Monitor performance and conduct evaluations forpersonnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relatedexperience preferred. Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience at the Director orAssistant Director level. Experience in construction management is preferred.
