Facilities Director:

As the Facilities Director at RISE Vols, you’ll lead a 20-person operations team consisting of maintenance technicians, studio supervisors, and housekeepers. From vendor selection to emergency response coordination, you’ll take ownership of all facilities operations and help launch a new student housing community from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all property maintenance operations across three new construction buildings Lead a team of 5-6 Maintenance Technicians, 2 Studio Supervisors, and 16 Housekeepers Coordinate vendor relationships, walk and punch units, and manage unit acceptance from construction Partner with the GM on budgeting and high-level decision-making Prioritize and assign work orders, ensuring timely completion and resident satisfaction Take the lead on after-hours emergencies, building an on-call rotation for your techs Travel for onboarding and culture training with senior leadership (Jacksonville, FL, 2-3 days) Develop and implement systems for preventive maintenance, inventory, and daily operations

What You Bring:
Experience:

Minimum 2 years as a Maintenance Supervisor or higher

Leadership:

Proven ability to manage large, diverse teams with confidence and patience

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with new construction, unit walks, punch lists, and vendor management

Skills:

Strong communicator, confident under pressure, and a master of prioritization

Mindset:

Proactive, results-driven, and solutions-oriented
