Technical Specialist/ Facilities Lead 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Greenbrier, TN 37073 Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking a Technical Specialist/ Facilities Lead for a Direct Hire opportunity at a company located in Greenbrier, TN! The ideal candidate should be familiar with medical devices and have a strong background in Operations. Technical Specialist is responsible for delivering, removing, servicing and maintaining durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will be responsible for scheduling three technicians, maintaining inventory and replenishment levels. The job requires some travel using a company vehicle. The service area may extend 250+ miles. The position is also responsible for overseeing facilities maintenance for your assigned service location.

Pay Rate :

$25.00-27.00/hour depending on experience Education Requirements for

After meeting all of PPS’ standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. Customer support experience. Work experience in the medical device industry or healthcare industry. Proficient with standard technology devices and apps. Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Technical Specialists:

Schedules and completes deliveries and removals of medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. Keeps accurate records of delivery, pick-up, maintenance and repair activities. Demonstrates and explains general operation and proper use of medical equipment to patient/customer. Periodically works on-call rotation. Responsible for all general warehouse and fleet vehicle upkeep. Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including buildings, equipment, and systems. Optimize the utilization of space within the facilities by analyzing current layouts, conducting space assessments, and planning for future needs. Coordinate reorganizations, relocations, and renovations while ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Oversee relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors providing services related to facilities maintenance, repairs, and renovations. Supervises contracts, monitors performance, and ensures service level agreements are met. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, employees, and management team to understand their facility needs and address any issues or concerns. Ensure compliance in areas such as building codes, environmental regulations, accessibility requirements, and fire safety standards. Maintains accurate records of inventory receipts and conducts periodic inventory counts. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
